Matanot La’Evyonim

banner-matonoslevyonim-2

One of the cherished mitzvot of Purim is Matanot LaEvyonim—giving gifts to the poor. This special mitzvah ensures that everyone has food to eat and can experience the true joy of Purim.

The obligation is to give the value of a simple meal to two separate individuals—meaning a minimum of $7.50 per person, totaling $15.

Every member of the household over Bar/Bat Mitzvah age is included in this mitzvah, including women.

There is no maximum—you may give as much as your heart desires!

To fulfill this mitzvah in the best possible way, the Rabbi can distribute the funds on your behalf, ensuring they reach families in need.

May your generosity bring joy to others and blessings to your home!

Join us throughout the week for davening, learning, and community events.
